When the nerves meets science, it is called Neuroscience. This is the study of the brain and nervous system mind using scientific methods. The nervous system is the system where all of your sense are felt, it transmits the 5 sensory feelings to your brain where it is interpreted. There are over 7 trillion nerves in the adult human body. Neuroscience has come a long way since the ancient Egyptians who were said to perform early Neuroscience experiments. There are many sub categories of Neuroscience. These can include Behavioral Neuroscience uses biology to study the effect of nerves and the brain on ones behavior. Molecular Neuroscience which is where you study the nerves at a molecular level. An emerging field in Neuro science is Neural engineering. A huge medical advancement Neural engineering is when engineering meets neurology. Engineering principles and techniques applied toward the neural system in order for neural enhancements creates this specialized field. Coding as well as special machines are used. There is Neuro genetics where the effect of inherited traits on the mind is studied. There are many job opportunities in modern day Neuro science. This can include a Neural engineer, or a neurosurgeon who operates on the brain and the nervous system. A Neurologist is a standard doctor who specializes in neurology that diagnoses conditions. There are many many more jobs in this field but these are some that are more popular. All of these jobs require college degrees and are very precise but also interesting as you get to observe humans from their minds.
